Delivery Manager @ AE
AE is a Belgian consultancy company specialised in digital transformations, from roadmap to architecture, software development to tackling data challenges. In this consultancy context, delivery management entails the follow up and management of all of our client consulting activities.
Within delivery management I acted as a change agent and a servant leader, supporting the translation of business challenges into concrete actionable plans. I was responsible for developing and implementing a change strategy for our delivery structure and processes to enable our company strategy. This meant supporting and challenging leadership in their client & commercial strategy, development and introduction of new roles in the organization, creating training paths to strengthen the required competencies of these roles, introducing new projects and managing them from start to finish, building a learning community, etc.. In this role I bridged the gap between the executive leadership team, our sales team, HR and operations teams.
August 2015 - October 2022
HR Business Partner @ AE
At AE I started within technical recruitment and became the lead of University recruitment. After a couple of years I combined recruitment with HR BP responsibilities, transitioning to a full HR BP role for a Business Unit of 140 consultants and around 15 clients. Maintaining high quality customer relationships
Thorough screening and qualification of suitable candidates
Contract negotiation
Projects
Besides my daily tasks and activities, I also take up several projects across different domains.
L&D & Wellbeing
1. For May - Mental Health Awareness Month - I have spearheaded a global wellbeing campaign containing insights and learning paths for both individuals and managers. This campaign laid the foundations of our wellbeing toolbox and offered numerous resources to our employees to increase their personal wellbeing and to encourage conversations about this topic.
2. I have spearheaded a Leadership Program for all people managers (+-200) on how to deal with change during large-scale transformations as our company is going through at this moment.

3. As an advisor to the Wellbeing Committee, I've initiated a project to identify our core wellbeing needs and translate them into a larger wellbeing framework, finding its foundations in Seligman's PERMA+4 model.

Sales Taskforce
During challenging COVID times, I spearheaded the Sales Taskforce, responsible for internal lead generation, identifying projects and staffing of all of our junior consultants. This entailed developing creative pricing and project strategies, development of go-to-market material and driving change in processes. By the end of September all consultants were staffed on a short term or long term project.
Onboarding Value Propostion
I have played a key role in developing a new service for our consultancy business. Working in a company with very mature HR policies and processes, combined with the inhouse expertise about knowledge sharing and training, we felt there still was a gap in the market regarding end-to-end hiring and content onboarding services. Our offering ensured a faster ROI on recruitment costs, optimizing HR processes and increasing employability, productivity and retention.
Selection & implementation of IT solutions
I have supported the implementation of a new Application Tracking System (ATS) by aiding in requirements gathering, platform comparison, selection and implementation. In the meantime I grew out to be our internal ATS expert, coaching colleagues and driving setup in reporting. I have also taken up the role as the business owner of a similar project regarding to our performance management process & tools.
Technovate Challenge
Since 2011 AE has been organizing student challenges. From 2016 to 2020 I was appointed project manager of this initiative. Since then the Technovate challenge evolved to a well-known and strategic event to allow students to walk in the shoes of a consultant, to get to know our company and to acquire important consultancy skills. Its purpose is twofold, as part of our recruitment strategy but also as a part of building a strong employer brand. The concept and setup changes every year, allowing to work with different external stakeholders, to come up with creative ideas and to ensure we stay ahead of competing initiatives in the market.
Education
2014 - 2016
Applied Sports Psychology - Catholic University of Leuven
After finishing my Master's degree, I applied for a 2 year course "Applied Sports Psychology" at the faculty of movement and rehabilitation sciences. Combining this with a fulltime job, the program only allowed 8 participants and required 300 hours of practical experience. I finished this program and I've been working as a freelance Sports Psychologist since 2016.
2007 - 2013
Master of Organizational Psychology - Catholic University of Leuven
After finishing an academic bachelor's degree in psychology, the master's degree required an internship of 7 months. I completed this internship as a Recruitment trainee at Imec in Leuven.
